Professor Caroline Miller

Professor Caroline Miller is the Director of the Health Policy Centre at SAHMRI. She is also an NHMRC Career Development Fellow, Heart Foundation Future Leader Fellow and Beat Cancer Principal Research Fellow at the University of Adelaide.

The Centre she leads undertakes programs of research in public health, specialising in tobacco control, obesity prevention and alcohol. The Centre delivers evidence to inform public health policy and population-based public health and health promotion interventions to reduce the preventable burden of non-communicable disease.
Caroline has broad experienced across health promotion and public health and is currently leading a program of research applying public health approaches to the issue of obesity prevention, with a specialist focus on over consumption of ultra-processed foods and beverages.
