Nikki Renall
Dr Nikki Renall (Taranaki) is an HRC Hōhua Tūtengaehe Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Massey University’s Research Centre for Māori Health and Development and a New Zealand Registered Dietitian. Her research combines clinical nutrition with a strong focus on equity, exploring how social, cultural, and structural factors shape food security and wellbeing. Her work spans kai Māori, Indigenous food sovereignty, racism in the dietetic workforce, and health service improvement. Through strengths-based, community-centred research, she seeks to generate evidence that supports Māori aspirations and advances equitable food and health systems in Aotearoa.
