Reeja (Jia) Nasir

Dr Reeja (Jia) Nasir is an early-career researcher at the Charles Perkins Centre at the University of Sydney. Her PhD research focused on non-invasive approaches to understanding cardiovascular disease risk in childhood and adolescence, with particular emphasis on early-life determinants such as childhood obesity. Her current work explores maternal nutrition during pregnancy as a strategy to reduce the risk of intergenerational obesity.
